Are you frustrated by the slow performance of your computer and looking for ways to speed up it up?  Firstly, you can consult your PC vendor who can give you useful suggestions that can solve your performance problems, because after all it may be a warranty problem.  

 

Next I would suggest that you use registry fix software to remove the unwanted information from the registry.  This software will scan and identify problems with the registry, the problems arise due to installing and uninstalling different programs, these actions make entries about the programs, and when a program is deleted these entries remain and when they have not been used for a long time they accumulate and have the effect of clogging the registry up, and hence causes the computer to run inefficient, and so is slowed down.

 

I regularly run registry cleaning software on my pc in order to satisfy myself that my registry is always at its optimum settings, and hence is not part of a problem which could be slowing my computer down.

On a slightly more advanced note, the MSCONFIG file should only contain names of programs that you require to run on your computer at startup. If there are too many programs on the computer running during the startup process your computer obviously will run very slowly and so face performance issues.  To solve the problem of computer performance you should only include the names of necessary programs in the MSCONFIG that will start  during the start up process of your machine.

 

Finally viruses can cause havoc for your computer and can seriously slow down your machine or even stop it all together.  To maintain your computers health, you should install and run antivirus program regularly  on your computer. The antivirus program prevents the virus from infecting the computer and will remove the viruses that have already infected your PC.  In order for you to run an effective antivirus regime ensure that you update your antivirus software each day so as to stay protected from new viruses.
