Hard Disc Failure
Most computers these days are equipped with high capacity disc drives that can store alot of data, 500GB capacity drives are commonplace. Although sophisticated, these hard drives still suffer every now and then from hard disc failure. Hard disc failure is a common problem that PC users have to face at the most unexpected times, I have experienced this on two occasions over the last 18 months. Although failure is possible on all drives, very few people have the basic knowledge of different aspects of the hard disc failure.
There are some prominent reasons for hard disc failure. Mishandling of the machine due to its placement, and overheating are the two most commonly known reasons for the occurrence of hard disc failure. As the CPU is generally kept under the table, therefore, the user often kicks it very frequently. These frequent kicks and bumps make the hard discs go wrong and ultimately make them suffer from hard disc failure.
Overheating is yet another very strong reason for hard disc failure. People use their PCs for a longer period of time without giving any break to the machines. It ultimately leads to overheating and the computer may as a result suffer from hard disc failure.
A sudden electricity cut is can also be a reason for hard disc failure. At any moment, when your computer is busy doing some data processing operation, it suddenly faces a power failure, the hard disc is turned off, and as a result you find yourself suffering from possible hard disc failure. Also, if you face frequent voltage fluctuations in your home or office, it can lead to hard disc failure due to lack of power, or voltage spikes may destroy the drive power management system. It is advisable to install a UPS to tackle any voltage fluctuation as well as supplying power backup for a stipulated time, to thus preventing your PC from hard disc failure due to power problems.
Hard disc failure can lead to serious consequences. You may lose all the data stored in the hard drive due to hard disc failure. This loss of data can be temporary or it may be permanent. Moreover, in some cases, the drive can get corrupted and may not be reusable. In some other cases, this hard disc failure will result in it not being identified or recognized by the BIOS and therefore, you will not get an alert saying it has failed. As a result, the whole system hangs and it becomes a critical issue to make the system operational again.
Solution:
Whenever your system faces hard disc failure, you must follow the guidelines given below to take immediate care of your damaged system:
- Switch off your system, detach the plug and then detach the hard disk from the system.
- Do not run any disc repair software like ChkDsk or Vrepair
- Do not open a damaged hard disc in the normal environment as it can further be damaged by dust particles present in the atmosphere.
- Send your hard disc to a company that provides data recovery service to recover the data from it.
But most importantly ensure that you make regular backups of your data, so that you can almost immediately, begin working on your computer again.

Do you believe that desktops develop old age, the more often they are used the slower performing they perform, hence if they are not cared for correctly they invariably degrade. You see this about a Windows PC, and the more regularly you operate it the slower, and slower it gets. Probably it’s not old age probably it’s a conspiracy theory that obliges users to put money in the most recent, peedier pc’s.
It is further possible that when you operate the pc, you probably place greater stress on the computer with the assorted software, possibly more executing behind the scenes, more cpu hungry animated desktops and blinking icons, user customised cursors, RSS programs, temperature programs, customisable clocks, and even utilities that thoughtfully check for the most up-to-date fixes and updates for windows, office, anti virus, spyware protection, and so this goes on, it is no surprise its getting slow. Well, this is how things happen differently. The advice, tips and tricks which will give the knowledge and aid to increase the performance of the notebook and pc up. All this collectively with the most recent significant news and reviews from the notebook and pc world.
The velocity and performance of your laptop is dependant on lots factors, such as hard drive performance, registry healthiness and status, operating system and the hardware of the system.

Hard Disk Failure and Data Recovery
Hard disk is a non-volatile data storage device that stores electronic data on a magnetic surface layered onto hard disk platters. Word “Hard” is use to differentiate it from a soft, or floppy disk.
Data Recovery Tools For Hard Disk Failure
As the majority of computer users already know, just about all hard drives fail because of regular utilization or conditions and although it may strike at anytime, hard disk failure usually takes several years to occur.
Here im putting the great reasons for the failure,There are many reasons for HDD failure, so excessive heat build up is just one of them.
Unable To Start Your Computer – Disk Boot Failure
Another reason for "Disk Boot Failure" is hard disk failure. If the hard disk drive went wrong you cannot load OS to the memory and the system boot will fail.
Hard Disk Failure and Data Recovery
Fundamental structures of all hard disk are same, and are composed of the same physical features, but their performance depends on the quality of their inner components.
